Darby borough Delaware County PA borough employee gave middle school students drugs

This is my hometown where when I was a kid drinking and drug use usually started around age 12. Then and now Darby has 6x the national violent crime rate and 24x the national average property crime rate. My KIA 10 speed and my sisters Schwinn both stolen as well as my Mother’s jewelry. My 11th grade business law teacher smoked pot with us, my 7th grade gym teacher convicted of dealing meth with his gay lover, a gym teacher got a student pregnant, my 12th grade art teacher was an Alcoholic who drank in class, a student gave birth in a toilet, 10th grade chemistry we hung out the window and smoked, joints were available for sale outside both my middle and high school grounds for $1, the “Variety Store” in sw Phila where you bought pot through a bullet proof glass window, Off the Wagon bar that would serve anyone and local bars that would accept any id at all including a self made check cashing id, we even had paint huffers, I could go on. Pot, alcohol, speed pills, meth, lsd, narcotics, were all easily available and many I grew up with are no longer with us today. The ones who made it seem to have strength, will, courage, and spirit like no others I’ve met in my journeys.
