World War II saw the exponential growth of the fighter pilot legend. Brigadier General Clarence “Bud” Anderson became a triple ace, meaning he had at least 15 victories, and became one of those amazing air heroes, who motivated our nation by their heroism and specialized skills in the cockpit.
