Boeing’s Starliner mission, which had a decade-long preparation, faces new challenges on its journey to the International Space Station, as reported by NASA.

Late Wednesday, the space agency revealed on X that two additional helium leaks were detected on the spacecraft.

While one leak had been identified before launch and deemed acceptable, the discovery of two new leaks prompted mission control to instruct astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to shut down two valves as a precaution.

Despite the troubleshooting efforts impacting the crew’s sleep schedule, NASA and Boeing have assured that the crew is safe and the spacecraft remains stable, CNN reported.
