Larval process :)

Every year in the summer, larvae migrate to the ground to strip off the veins.
After mating, the trenches dig the small grooves onto the boughs of the branches and lay eggs there. She can do so many times until she spawns a few hundred eggs. When the eggs hatch, larvae fall down and dig deep into the soil. Most ticks have a life span of 2 to 5 years. Some species have a much longer life span, such as the Magicicada, which has a life span of 17 years and sometimes 13 years. Such long lifetimes are an adaptation against tigers such as beetles and carnivores because these carnivores can not often appear simultaneously with ticks.
