My Comfort in Affliction- Charles Spurgeon Sermon AD 1881

We suffer as good soldiers of Christ. We WILL suffer in this life. No one escapes from the trials and pangs of affliction, infirmities and ultimately death. But HOW do we suffer? Have we learned how to apply the most needful comfort which IS the word of God to each situation? This sermon gets down to the soul and speaks to us about these most important and pressing issues. Speaking the word of truth, the needful thing: Luke 10:42 "but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Jesus says, "feed my sheep" and that is what this work is all about. Glorifying God, pointing to Jesus Christ and feeding others with the very word of the Lord. I welcome each of you to walk by my side as we strive to stay on this narrow road and endure until the end! With God, ALL things are possible!
