Shoppers Barricade Thieves Into Perfume Store In Nashville

Shoppers barricade a group of burglars inside a Perfumania store in Nashville, Tennessee after the thugs tried stealing merchandise. According to police, four suspects tried stealing hundreds of dollars of merchandise at the store. The thugs were able to escape through the back of the store, however they were forced to drop all of the merchandise they had tried to steal. At one point, one of the shoplifters was seen trying to plead with the Good Samaritans to let them out. "South Precinct detectives are continuing to investigate Saturday afternoon’s attempted shoplifting at Perfumania in the Tanger Outlets," authorities said. "Four suspects, who employees said had visited twice in the last week, attempted to steal hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise, but bystanders held the front door to block them from exiting." - "The suspects were able to leave through the back door but dropped all of the merchandise in order to exit empty handed."
