When Repair Is the Only Option - Designer’s Choice IR Ceiling Fan Remote Control Circa 1986

A Designer's Choice ceiling fan infrared remote control was presented dead on arrival after 38 of proper functionality. After some testing, a faulty 5V regulator was discovered and replaced, restoring the remote to proper functional status.
