The Acolyte is the Best Star Wars Show Since the Last One According to Critics

Early reviews for the latest Disney+ Star Wars show The Acolyte are in and so far, critics are fairly positive.

The question left to be answered is whether or not it’s going to be enough to justify the budget Disney and Lucas Film spent producing the show. At around $180 million The Acolyte is one of the most expensive Disney+ Star Wars series to date. Compare that to Obi-Wan Kenobi that cost half that with a budget of $90 million. If The Acolyte is not able to beat viewership figures for Obi-Wan Kenobi then it looks like this is another Disney+ Star Wars flop.
