Ditch the Pedicure: Natural Foot Care Hacks for Healthy, Beautiful Feet

Time to ditch the old pedicure for a healthier version of foot care! Traditional pedicures use chemicals that get into your system and can cause other issues to occur if you are not careful. So, today we are looking at natural foot care for healthy and beautiful feet!

In this video, Dr. Val shares the importance of foot care and grounding. Grounding replenishes the electrical voltage of the cells in our body. This results in good health.

Go barefoot when you can for amazing benefits that include rejuvenation and body recovery.

Give your feet an epsom salt bath once a week using 1/4 teaspoon in warm water up to the ankles. Soak for 30 minutes.

Use a pumice stone or callous grater on rough spots to smooth your skin.

If you have them, essential oils are a great addition to the footbath. A few drops will do of the following:

Lavender for healing
Tea tree for antifungal
Peppermint for energy

It’s always good to inspect them when you’re drying them. Carefully make sure there are no cuts or abrasions that need attention. Trim the toenails and moisturize.

See video for tips on ingrown toenails and diabetes foot care.

Here are some important tips to remember:
• Always use 100% pure essential oils (pharmaceutical grade) for safety and efficacy.
• Perform a small patch test on your skin to ensure you aren't allergic if you’ve never used the oil before.
