The ceremony to retire Leyland's No. 10 will take place at Comerica Park on August 3. Additionally, Leyland will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in July. He is the second ex-Tigers manager to receive this honor, following Sparky Anderson, whose No. 11 was retired in 2011. Leyland spent the final eight years of his 22-year managerial career with the Detroit Tigers.
