Padre Pio Healing Prayer

Hello everyone, and welcome to America Needs Fatima’s 3-minute Meditation. In this short video segment, you and I will take about three minutes out of our day to meditate on a special piece of Catholic wisdom. In today’s meditation we say a prayer for healing, composed by Saint Padre Pio.

As we say this prayer for healing, I encourage you to recall the times when your body has failed you, and you came down with some ailment or another. Our spiritual health is very similar to our physical health in this way and entirely entwined. It is very important that we never underestimate the attention and prayer needed to achieve a healthy and holy body and spirit.

“Heavenly Father, I thank Thee for loving me. I thank Thee for sending Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in Thy power and grace that sustain and restore me.

Loving Father, touch me now with Thy healing hands, for I believe that Thine will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit. Cover me with the Most Precious Blood of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.

Let the fire of Thy healing love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way Thou created it to function.
Touch also my mind and my emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart. Saturate my entire being with Thy presence, love, joy and peace and draw me ever closer to Thee every moment of my life.

And Father, fill me with Thy Holy Spirit and empower me to do Thy works so that my life will bring glory and honor to Thine Holy Name. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.”

May we also turn to Our Lord today, asking for the words needed to spread Our Lady’s message of Fatima throughout the world. I hope today’s meditation helped you to grow in your faith. Talk to you again soon.

Padre Pio Healing Prayer

America Needs Fatima is a campaign to capture the heart and soul of America with the Message of Our Lady of Fatima. In 1917, Our Lady asked for prayer, penance and other measures to avoid chastisement of suffering, famines, and wars. She also promised that:

“Finally, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”
