MDHHS Seeking Applicants for Kinship Advisory Council

Kinship care is when a child’s care is fully entrusted to a family member, family friend, or member of the child’s community when it is not possible for them to stay with their parents. The Kinship Advisory Council seeks to create a plan to better engage support groups and provide services for kinship caregivers, as well as broaden public awareness about these services. Applications to the council are open until June 28.
