Joi Dickerson Neal filed a lawsuit against Sean Diddy Combs in November 2023, the lawsuit is just one of seven Diddy faces.

In the lawsuit, Joi Dickerson Neal accused the disgraced rap mogul of sex trafficking and non-consensual filming amongst other charges.

Diddy's legal team filed a motion to dismiss some of the claims in the lawsuit filed by Joi Dickerson-Neal in November, accusing the music mogul of drugging and raping her as a then-college student in 1991. The motion filed in a New York court claims Combs cannot be sued because certain laws didn't exist when Joi Dickerson-Neal made the allegations against him in 1991. Here are some key points about the case:

Dickerson-Neal's complaint alleges that Combs had intentionally drugged her, resulting in her being in a physical state where she could not independently stand or walk.
- Combs allegedly spiked her drink when Dickerson-Neal left it unattended to use the restroom, the suit read.
- Dickerson-Neal's filing last year claimed Combs videotaped the 1991 assault and distributed the tape to others in the music industry.
- Combs has denied Dickerson-Neal's allegations, claiming the incident was made up and a "money grab".
- Combs' lawyers want certain statutes from Dickerson-Neal's claims, such as revenge porn and human trafficking, to be dismissed with prejudice.
