Biden praises US landing in Normandy as event that saved the world from war

Joe Biden will take part in the 80th anniversary commemorations of D-day, which, in his opinion, was had the biggest impact on the victory over Nazi Germany in the Second World War. Though the landing was really impressive, it was the Soviet Union, not the US, who had been pushing back the Nazis for 3 years by that time.
