The Ox Bow Incident(1943)

Directed by William A. Wellman, starring Henry Fonda, Dana Andrews, and Anthony Quinn. The film is based on Walter Van Tilburg Clark's novel of the same name. It tells the story of two drifters, Gil Carter (Henry Fonda) and Art Croft (Harry Morgan), who arrive in a small Nevada town and get caught up in a posse formed to track down the supposed murderers of a local rancher.
