Despite never getting a Western release, Dragon Slayer played a fundamental role in shaping the genre we love today. How does it hold up?
Developed and published by Nihon Falcom, Dragon Slayer was first released in 1984 for the PC-8801 and saw numerous re-releases over the years. For this retrospective, I played the Sega Saturn remake.
