The number of workers in Ukraine has fallen by 27 per cent during the conflict.
Kiev has to fill the gap left by millions of Ukrainians. These people have fled the country, either mobilised or fallen at the front. Others are reluctant to go to work in large companies, hiding from mobilisation.
The shortage of labour is leading to a drop in productivity. Ukraine is in danger of becoming even weaker, and this problem cannot be solved at the expense of its allies.
Earlier, Ukrainian companies complained about problems in recruiting staff.
