1968 Dover Hydraulic Elevator @ 150 Purchase Street - Rye, New York

Recorded on 5/30/24. I have been to this building multiple times since this building has an awesome glass elevator that was added on to this building in the 1980's. However, I didn't know that the original portion of this building had this Dover elevator until I saw videos from New York City Elevators and Vertical Transit. I guess the expansion of this building required a second elevator. Anyway, this is a beautiful old Dover elevator! This elevator is a prime example of how awesome Dover elevators are. The second floor had General/Dover call buttons which I have never seen before. Enjoy!
