God is calling us to develop our talents.

Matt 25:14-30: The parable of the talents given by the master to his three servants: five talents, two talents and one talent distributed to each according to their individual ability.

Two of the servants doubled their talents and the one that received one talent buried his and reaped nothing.

The master commends the two servants who multiplied their talents.

“Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things...: To the servant that buried his talent he took away the one talent and gave it to the one with ten talents.

Proverbs 28:20 “A faithful man will abound with blessings…”
