Time to Start Hoarding Copper Pennies? Copper Price Soaring

In this video I talk about hoarding copper pennies and copper price. Copper price has gone up significantly over the past few months and recently hit an all time high. Copper Pennies from 1981 and earlier are made out of 95% copper and 5% zinc so is it a good idea to hoard copper pennies right now? I bring up the actual melt value of a copper penny and I also talk about the legality of melting down pennies. Modern pennies are made out of zinc and not worth much. I also talk about how you might be able to use copper pennies for barter in the future and how the price of copper in 2024 and beyond can continue to climb. The price of copper can climb much higher than it is right now and with each copper penny being worth about 3 cents I think its a good idea to be hoarding them right now. There are some types of copper such as copper rounds and copper bars that I do not recommend stacking right now. When it comes to stacking copper I prefer copper wire and copper cents.
