As an advocate for education and self-transformation, Dr. McGlaston holds a master's degree in sociology from CSU, San Marcos, and a doctorate from UCSD, where her research delved into transformational leadership, femininity, and race. Her work has specifically explored how individuals forge communities in both virtual and physical realms, the concept of emotional labor, and the utilization of feminine principles in the leadership realm, particularly among C-suite female executives.
Currently, Dr. McGlaston wears multiple hats as an entrepreneur and owner of two businesses—The UnWined Experience and Womanize. Simultaneously, she serves as a college professor and embraces the role of homemaker, nurturing her two children, ages 3 and 5, and supporting her husband.
