Stabbing attack in Germany: an anti-Islamist activist was stabbed in the city square, a police officer was injured

Several people were injured this morning (Friday) in a stabbing attack in the town square of Mannheim in West Germany, including the German and anti-Islamist politician who previously opposed the construction of a mosque in Munich, Michael Stirzenberger. During the security forces' attempt to take control of the attacker, a policeman was stabbed in the neck and back.
A gathering of political activists from the BPE group, which holds anti-Muslim views, was expected to take place in the square in the center of the city. In the hard-to-watch documentation, which was published on social networks, the attacker can be seen attacking passers-by with a knife. A few moments later, the local police manage to neutralize him with gunfire.

In the media in Germany, we were informed about several citizens who were evacuated to receive medical treatment, but their condition was not reported
