Stumbled Across Seeing Bass with a Drone While Taking a Photo

Locating bass with a drone may not be a new concept, but when you see it for the first time it can be a cool experience. My wife and I were walking along a secluded beach along the shores of Lake Michigan. It was an anniversary week for us and something we enjoy doing. I took the drone along for a downward angle photo of the two of us on the beach with nobody around. While getting the drone positioned, I noticed in the shallow water not far off in the water giant smallmouth swimming around. I took note of it and we came back a couple days later. I had my fishing rod with me this time. I wanted to see if I could reach them from shore. I did some research on the area and noticed there wasn’t a boat ramp within 20 miles of the area. It wasn’t somewhere I was going to be able to get to by boat in a short amount of time. Check out the footage in this video if you would like to see what the smallmouth look like from an above view.
