UCLA - Palestine vs Israel Clash

Palestine supporters clashed with Israel supporters at the UCLA campus. Palestinian supporters created an encampment at Royce Hall in UCLA. Israel Supporters attempted to dismantle the encampment as they were blocking areas near the library where students wanted to go study. Clashes amongst both sides lasted until about 2 a.m., when CHP and LAPD showed up and separated both sides. Palestinian Supporters remained in their encampment area. UCLA has declared it a u lawful assembly and assured the Palestinian supporters would be cleared soon. During the clashes, makeshift weapons and shields were used by both sides as well as bear spray, and pepper spray was being disbursed onto opposing sides.

As of today, 10 pm on 5/1/24, the Palestinian Supporters encampment had not been dismantled.
