After a trial lasting more than five weeks, a New Yorkjudge has instructed a jury to make a historic decision:whether Donald Trump is guilty or not guilty of a crime.

The former president has pleaded not guilty to 34counts of falsifying business records in relation to ahush-money payment made to adult-film star Stormy
Daniels.

Deliberations began on Wednesday afternoon, but the12 jurors left the Manhattan courthouse without a verdict.

When they come back on Thursday morning, they willsift through the requested testimony and once againweigh whether Mr Trump will become the first formerUS president to be convicted of a felony.
