Many people probably do not know that they have a function in the car to close the windows when the switch does not work. All you need to do is to dismantle the inside of the car door and find the contact that used to belong to the operating switch.

Where is it and how does it work?

First, you need to figure out the location of the automatic opening and closing of windows in the cabin situated beneath the protective layer on the car door. That is the place below the switch by which you maneuver your windows up and down. As you can see in the video at the top of the page, there is an electrical socket that manages the entire process. A bit of electrical charge should be brought with a cord and you can see the mechanism pull the glass up and down along the window holder.

The vehicle you are seeing in the video is an old truck. Its window switch was gone out and our crafty guy thought of using an old drop cord to check the motor. It was working, of course, but in the process, you might well learn and see from a practical example how the entire mechanism operates.

This video is only for those who probably did not know this. Don’t get offended folks, for us it was a first!
