#Dr. Richard Gallagher discusses his new book "Demon Foes" and paranomal - exorcism

In this episode of "The Strange Reality with Dave Emmons," Dr. Richard Gallagher tells us about his new book. " Demonic Foes: My Twenty-Five Years as a Psychiatrist Investigating Possesions, Diabolic Attacks, and the Paranormal. This show was recorded on 5-23-24. Dr. Gallagher discusses a couple of cases he consulted Exorcist Priests about and how he assisted Priests in diagnosing demonic possession cases (people allegedly possessed by demons). Dr. Gallager's medical diagnosis would direct the Priests with either the patient being psychotic or demon-possessed. Diagnosing cases is a difficult job, but when Priests need help with a case, they call on Dr. Gallagher since he is the world's leading psychiatrist authority on demonic possession. Dr. Gallagher talks about the paranormal, different religions, and exorcism beliefs; he also talks about how to protect yourself from demonic possession.
Dr. Richard Gallagher, MD, a board-certified psychiatrist, is a professor of psychiatry at New York Medical and a psychoanalyst on the faculty of Columbia University. Dr. Gallagher graduated from Princeton University, Phi Beta Kappa in classics, and trained as a resident in psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine.
