77th World Health Assembly 2024 Dr Lucas de Toca Representing Australia

This is Dr Lucas de Toca providing opening remarks on behalf of Australia to the 77th Annual World Health Assembly, 2024.

Dr de Toca leads the Global Health Division and the Indo-Pacific Centre for Health Security at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, managing Australia’s relationship with multilateral health organisations and our international development assistance in health.

A search of PubMed shows that he has co-authored eight research publications, all of them since the Covid pandemic response, promoting Covid vaccination (including of children), telehealth and digital health.
