Oregon wildlife managers just got permission to kill up to 93 sea lions at Willamette Falls to protect threatenedj steelhead. They say lethal removal will be a better solution than trucking the sea lions to the coast like they did earlier this year. Loading 500-pound sea lions into pickup trucks seemed a little crazy to us, so Oregon Field Guide went along for the ride in this story.
