El 29 de mayo de 2024, el gobierno sueco dio a conocer su decimosexto y mayor paquete de apoyo militar a Ucrania desde el inicio de la invasión a gran escala de Rusia.
Este paquete integral, valorado en más de mil millones de euros, incluye por primera vez dos aviones de detección de radar de largo alcance ASC 890, misiles RB 99 (AMRAAM) y todos los vehículos blindados de transporte de tropas suecos PBV 302.
Este importante paquete de ayuda tiene como objetivo reforzar la defensa aérea de Ucrania y satisfacer sus necesidades de alerta temprana más urgentes.
