Animation from 1932

A jealous stump threatens two trees that are in love by starting a forest fire. When the rain comes and puts out the fire the forest revives and celebrates the wedding.

This animation from Disney's "Flowers and Trees" won the first Oscar for a cartoon in 1932, also the first to use 3 reel filming. Every single movement was done by hand!
