Awesome Dad Shaves His Son's Dreds For Bullying Kid With Cancer

A man’s harsh punishment for his son being a bully has sparked a furious debate on the internet. He shaved his son’s head after he was discovered to have been bullying a child with cancer while at school, and appeared to have no remorse for his actions. The 36-year-old father believes he has “broken a bond” with his son and their relationship may now never be the same, and took to Reddit’s ‘Am I The A**hole’ forum to ask if his parenting methods were too extreme. The man wrote: “My oldest son was concerned about what his brother has been doing. What added to the surprise was that the school had never contacted me, and my son had never exhibited such behavior before.”

He wrote: “I insisted that he needed to apologize to the kid when he goes back to school. My son flat-out refused and told me that he wasn't going to do it. “I asked my son if there's a reason he's bullying this boy, but he just said it was because it was funny.” During the argument, the older brother jokingly suggested the father shave the younger son’s head if he was not sorry, and the father felt it was a “good punishment.” The father wrote: “I gave my son two options either I will come up to the school and make him apologize to the child or I would shave his head. My son chose the second choice and so I gave my son a buzz cut.” During the unexpected haircut, the older brother began laughing that upset the younger son, who began crying.
