Out With Our Old Generator & In With Our New One – 05/28/2024

Yeap, it was time to bid farewell to our 2000 PowerBack GT5250, while I also introduce our new 2024 Westinghouse 15,000/12,000-Watt Dual Fuel. I elaborate in the video how it was just not cost effective to fix the old generator, AND, why it would not even be suitable as a backup. The one thing I left out in the video, is that the new generator required a 30-amp plug whereas the old one had a 20-amp; they are two different, uninterchangeable plugs. There was no way we would be changing out plugs [possibly in the dark] just to have a backup; that’s what sealed the deal with us, making the decision to finally send the PowerBack to the recycling bin!
