Sunrise at May Ranch 5/21/24 - Tetonia Idaho

This is a nice spring sunrise on our place between Tetonia and Driggs Idaho. There's a frosting of ice on all the grass but it's warm enough that nothing freezes. Seems like things are too humid to get a strong freeze.

They just finished spring planting in the area. Given the weather this year, things are going to grow fast. I was talking with a few long-time locals, they remember this weather as I do....it seems a bit more like winters we had in the 1970s. 3-4 ft of snow in the flats, and generally cooler and wetter than the past 40 years. Natural cycles take their time; without respect for the tiny human lifespan.
