Legendary Director John Musker, who helmed such Renaissance era masterpieces like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Hercules, is breaking his silence about how his former employer has prioritized messaging over compelling characters and engaging stories.

He's right on the money and it's easy for everyone to see how much Disney has changed since Musker was working there. Sometimes it takes someone of his stature to reiterate these points for anyone to listen and make the appropriate changes.

But this is Disney we are talking about, they aren't going to change any time soon.
