Training horses always involves some risk of injury (or even death) to the horse, the trainer, any spectators, equipment used, etc. - this risk is totally your own as you will be making your own judgements on what to do. As with any suggestions on any subject you must weigh them out for yourself and proceed accordingly - at your own risk.

This is an over two hour video of the entire second session under saddle. It is all slow and easy work to get the horse pupil to reason out that doing what the master asks is the best choice - the easiest choice - it is what you want to choose for yourself to do.

You can see me applying the two principles of horse training which MUST be simultaneously applied. (1) Make the right thing easier work and the wrong thing harder work aka "Make the right thing easy and the wrong thing hard." (2) Horses learn they did the right thing when the pressure is released. (Which means that dropping the cue instantly when the horse did the correct response is KEY to getting them to learn.)

We continued to work on teaching neck reining - which I start teaching on the first ride. We started teaching the basic lateral movements of hip yield aka pass around the forehand AND shoulder yield aka pass around the haunches aka pivot.

Remember to intentionally, on purpose, learn of God each day by prayerfully reading, studying, and pondering upon God's word each day. Talk to God in prayer as your Heavenly Father who would like for you to be His friend. Find out what He would like you to do for Him as His friend and go and do it for Him as His friend. Yes very intentionally, very much on purpose, become the friend of God. And have a blessed day!!
