So let me get this straight, an NYC liquor store owner is facing up to 7 years in prison after shooting a thief who tried stealing from HIS store but the actual thieves themselves were only charged with petit larceny and ONE year in jail???

Not in DA Alvin Bragg's NYC though?????

They should be charged with burglary in the 3rd. degree, a felony, under NY state Penal Law. Defined entering a building with intent to commit a crime. I used to charge shoplifters with that here in NY state with no problems at all. This was a burglary, period!
