05/27/2024 U.S. geopolitics expert Dmitri Alperovitch：CCP’s invasion of Taiwan could be over before the U.S. even has a chance to respond. CCP would first mount a lightning fast assault from the air and the sea, move amphibious assault ships across the straight, deploy dozens of troop transport helicopters as well as gunships to do an airborne assault, use bombers, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles to strike Taiwan's defenses. All of this can happen literally within the first 30 minutes of invasion.
