SOMM Rioja Toro Cigar Review - This 6x52 stick features a dark brown, densely packed satin wrapper with a large double cap and sweet nutty cocoa aroma. First light reveals a similar sweet nutty core with a metallic zing and leather mixed in all on a long smooth finish. The first third continues the perfect burn with all the same notes, just mellowed and smoothed out together. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with just a subtle shift to the sweetness taking on a light caramel flavor, everything else staying the same, with perfect performance. The last third ends at 1:20 with flavors shifting to a deep earth, dark caramel but keeping the zing through the long finish.
