BUFFALO, N.Y. — Tommy Cowan, a South Buffalo native and the owner of multiple Buffalo restaurants, died unexpectedly on Monday according to his obituary. He was 44-years-old.

Cowan was well-known for his work in the Buffalo restaurant industry, working at, owning and co-owning locations such as SoHo, City Tavern, Forty Thieves, Doc Sullivan's and others.
