Tow Truck Driver Killed While Working

A Cape Coral tow truck operator is dead after being hit by a car, Friday night. Cape Coral Police officers responded to the scene of a serious injury crash at Pine Island Road and Pondella Road, shortly after 8 p.m. on Friday. The victim, identified as Wes Dale, was towing a vehicle when a malfunction occurred causing the vehicle to roll on top of him, according to loved ones. Wes died from his injuries Saturday morning.
