A BBC Radio adaptation by John Scotney of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story of high seas adventure, scheming "buccaneers and buried gold" that set the bar for all pirate adventure stories to come.

The novel was originally serialised from 1881 to 1882 in the children's magazine YOUNG FOLKS, published as a book on 14 November 1883 and has since been adapted for radio, film and television many times.
