The meaning of this verse is Bhanu which means Sun is lying at a distance of Jug Sahastra Jojan and Hanuman tried to eat it thinking it to be a sweet fruit

When we multiply these three, we get: Yug x Sahastra x Yojan = 12,000 × 1,000 × 8 miles = 96,000,000 miles

So when we convert miles to kms we get
96,000,000 miles x 1.6 kms = 153,600,000 kms

It is surprising to note that Tulasidasa who lived in 16th century could give the most accurate estimation that is very close to the estimation by 20th century astronomers
