Furiosa Review | Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Review

After a long wait, George Miller has finally taken us on another journey to the Mad Max Wasteland, this time in the form of the prequel, Furiosa. I never felt that Mad Mad: Fury Road needed a prequel but here we are. And as a fan of Mad Max, who am I to say no to George Miller. Similar to Fury Road, Furiosa features all of the massive vehicular combat scenes iconic of the franchise but this time around the focus is much more on Furiosa as a character as we follow her journey from captive to Imperator. Truth be told, I don't think her backstory is all that incredible but Furiosa is a solid movie and it gets a GreatWatch label from us thanks to the great practical effects, the combat scenes, and Chris Hemsworth's surprisingly good performance as Dementus.
