Dozens reported killed in Israeli strike on Rafah

According to the health ministry administered by Hamas, an Israeli airstrike on a camp for displaced Palestinians in the southern Gaza city of Rafah has resulted in at least 45 deaths.

Videos captured the scene on Sunday night in the Tal al-Sultan area, where there was a big explosion and strong fires.

The Israel Defense Forces declared that it had eliminated two high-ranking Hamas officials and that it was investigating claims that the strike and fire it started had injured civilians.

Eight rockets from Rafah were fired by Hamas hours earlier toward Tel Aviv, marking the first long-range assaults on the key Israeli city.
