Celebrating Bitcoin Pizza Day, the ITALIAN Way

Bitcoin Pizza Day is a special day in the cryptocurrency community, commemorating the first known transaction of Bitcoin for a real-world good. On May 22, 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz, a programmer from Florida, posted on the Bitcoin Talk forum, “Pizza for bitcoins?” He offered to pay 10,000 Bitcoins for two large pizzas from Papa John’s. A British man took him up on the offer, and the transaction was made!
