Ripley’s Believe it or Not! & Guinness World Records Museum Tour

Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Hollywood, CA

Inside the museum, 300 exhibits are spread across two floors and 15 galleries. When the Hollywood landmark was overhauled in 2012, some of the most gruesome exhibits were removed to make the experience more family-friendly. You’ll still find plenty of oddities here, though. Highlights include a vampire-killing kit, interactive musical stairs, Marilyn Monroe memorabilia, and a moving automaton of the world’s tallest man.

A few years after my visits to Ripley’s in Hollywood, CA I see that Ghost Adventures did an investigation there. Employees of the museum have claimed to be “adversely affected by its rare artifacts.”

I did capture an orb sweep across me while I was on the dance floor near the end of the video visit. I did use my paraspectrum camera and an infrared effect on camera phone a few times while in Ripley’s.

As stated on a web site: “Guinness is all about the fastest, tallest, biggest, fattest and other superlatives.”
I could have spent time reading the postings for each exhibit but the layout and lackluster displays inspired enough interest in me to just glance through the place.
It is only the first 3 minutes of this video episode.
