Israeli Settlers and IDF Accused of Destroying Gaza Aid Amid Famine

Recent videos have surfaced showing Israeli settlers and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) allegedly collaborating to destroy aid trucks headed for Gaza, which is currently facing a "full-blown famine" according to the World Food Program. The disturbing footage reveals settlers attacking and burning aid vehicles, reportedly with the support and participation of the IDF and police.

Reports indicate that settler groups use WhatsApp to track and coordinate these attacks, tailing relief convoys, setting up checkpoints, and interrogating drivers. In several instances, Palestinian drivers have been beaten, their vehicles ransacked, and aid destroyed. One driver was hospitalized after suffering severe injuries, including a broken nose, ribs, and vertebrae.

The situation in northern Gaza is dire, with severe food scarcity spreading. Despite the humanitarian crisis, extremist settlers express satisfaction over the destruction of aid, with one leader stating, “I’m happy for every truck that doesn’t enter Gaza.”
