ATF Director Dettelbach appeared before a House Judiciary Committee on the topic of overreach by the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

The three hour plus hearing focused on a number of issues - a recent ATF raid in Arkansas that left the suspect dead while ATF was not following its own body camera protocol, the ATF's rule-making authority over braces and ghost guns, as well as the recent rule on being engaged in the business of firearms sales. They also focused on general questions about the conduct of the large Federal agency that acts as a political strongarm of the gun grabbing Biden Administration.

There were several back and forths, with many talking points we've heard before. I think many Representatives did well in their questioning and counter points to the Director's non-responses.
