Gabapentin is a medication used for a variety of conditions including post-herpetic neuralgia, partial seizures, restless legs syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome and insomnia. However, use of gabapentin can cause a variety of mild and severe side effects. Side effects are for the most part RARE and do not cause issues in most patients.
